Authorized Training Agency (ATA) Training Update
General Information: This update is offered to all New York State Department of Health, Authorized Training Agencies by REACH CNY. Attendance is important in order to maintain your agency's authorization status. Agencies who received authorization to deliver Overview of HIV Infection and AIDS, Offering HIV Testing in CBOs Serving High Risk Communities and Community HIV/AIDS Educator training should attend. All members of your training team are encouraged to attend.
This training will feature updates on several topics that can be utilized while delivering Overview of HIV Infection and AIDS, Offering HIV Testing in CBOs Serving High Risk Communities and Community HIV/AIDS Educator training.
Content for the update includes:
- H1N1 Update
- Update on the Window Period for HIV
- Releasing Preliminary Positive Results for Standard HIV Testing
- Updated HIV/AIDS Reporting Forms
- Form C - on-line submission

ATA Update Registration Information
*For registrations to be processed, please complete and attach the Annual Quality Assurance Tool for training provided in 2006.*

To Register:
- Identify the date/location of the update you want to attend
- Complete the ATA Update Online Registration Form
- or fax the forms to (315) 424-0190
- or mail the form to:

- Space is limited, so register early
- A confirmation letter will be sent in about 2 weeks before the training. The confirmation letter will include the date, time, location and directions to the training.
- Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the training.
- Letters of attendance will be given to participants who complete the entire training.
