Regional Trainings
REACH CNY is a Regional Training Center that provides free trainings for health & human service providers on a variety of topics related to HIV prevention, care and support.
Training of Trainers: Become an Authorized Training Agency (ATA)
REACH CNY is designated as the Center of Expertise for Training of Trainers. We offer a four day training to authorize health and human service agencies to conduct the AIDS Institute's Overview of HIV Infection and AIDS and Offering HIV Testing in CBOs Serving High Risk Communities training programs. Agencies send a team of two trainers. Upon successful completion of the training, the agency becomes a member of the AIDS Institute's Authorized Training Agency (ATA) Initiative.
Authorized Training Agency (ATA) Updates
This update is offered to all New York State Department of Health, Authorized Training Agencies. Agencies who received authorization to deliver Overview of HIV Infection and AIDS, Offering HIV Testing in CBOs Serving High Risk Communities and Community HIV/AIDS Educator training should attend. Attendance is important in order to maintain your agency's authorization status. All members of your training team are encouraged to attend.
